Peugeot E-408 Starts Marketing In England At A Price Of Nearly IDR 1 Billion
JAKARTA - An automotive manufacturer from France, Peugeot has finally officially opened the new e-408 model booking period for the UK market as a rival of the Tesla Model 3.
Reporting from Autocar, Tuesday, December 10, this brand with the head of a lion' logo sells this crossover coup with two trim options, namely Allure as entry-level at a price of 42,175 pounds (Rp853.1 million) and GT as the highest with a tag of 44,945 pounds (Rp909.1 million).
With the presence of e-408 in the land of King Charles, the Peugeot vehicle line is even more complete by offering powertrains ranging from gasoline, hybrid to pure electricity (EV).
Supported by the E-EMP2 platform, this allows it to have flexibility in various powertrains without sacrificing interior style or comfort.
This car has a length of 4,690 mm, a width of 1,850 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,790 mm. This dimension allows the battery to be installed at the bottom of the vehicle body, to be precise below the floor between wheels.
Thus, this can provide a wide cabin space and lower the center of gravity of the model so that it can run dynamically.
The dynamical properties of e-408 are also located on a futuristic 15-inch rim covered in 225-50R19 tires with low rolling resistance.
