Honor GT Ready To Launch December 16, Design And Mainstay Features Revealed

JAKARTA - Honor officially announced the launch of the latest smartphone from the GT series on December 16 at 19.30 local time in China. After releasing an initial teaser showing the design of the back of the device, Honor is now sharing promotional images showing a white variant of the Honor GT.

In the latest picture, the Honor GT comes with a dual-tone design equipped with a flat edge. The rectangular camera module features two cameras and a dual-tone flash, with a striking red logo that reads "GT" in the lower right corner. The bottom of the device has speakers, USB-C ports, microphones, and SIM card slots.

The design is slim but sturdy indicating that the Honor GT is designed for high performance, especially to support gaming experiences. Although detailed specifications have not been disclosed, the leak states that this device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform, the 1.5K OLED flat screen, and supports 100W fast charging via cable.

Strong Competitors in Class Industri observers praised Honor's consistency in presenting quality devices. Honor GT is predicted to compete with other models, such as Redmi K80 and iQOO Neo 10, as well as several devices to be released soon such as Realme Neo 7 and OnePlus Ace 5. Except for Realme Neo 7 which uses Dimensity 93,000 Plus chips, most of its competitors are equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Honor CEO Zhao Ming stated that the GT series will feature a unique design concept relevant to the artificial intelligence era (AI). This series is targeted for young users who want to experience the latest technology with superior performance.
