Synopsis Of Chinese Drama The Legend Of Taotie: An Yue Xi And Wang You Suho Manage Restaurants

JAKARTA - The latest costume drama, The Legend of Taotie will air soon. Played by An Yue Xi and Wang You Suho, this drama combines a history story with fantasy and romance.

Besides the two, this drama is also played by Niu Zi Fan, Chu Jun Chen, Hugh Wang, Wang Zi Ming, and many others. This project finally aired after it was first announced in 2023.

The following is a synopsis of the drama The Legend of Taotie:

The Legend of Taotie, set in the Liang Agung Dynasty, tells the story of Tian Xiang Restaurant, a famous restaurant in Wu Xia City.

Shopkeeper Zhu Chengbi (An Yue Xi) and accountant Chang Qing (Wang You Suho) are known as a fighting couple. They experience many thrilling incidents and shake the earth and together produce a lot of delicious dishes.

Each dish includes and tells a different story, and reflects a different meaning. In the end, King Langyang decided to pit Zhu Chengbi and Chang Qing against each other to save his own life.

He forced Chengbi to make dishes that prolong a person's life, and free the black leftn from his own greed; thus destroying Lian Xin Tower and Wu Xia City.

Under his manipulation, Chengbi evolved into Taotie and almost swallowed Chang Qing. Finally, Chang Qing wakes up Chengbi and everything starts again, including their relationship.

An Yue Xi and Wang You Suho's interactions can be watched for 40 episodes. The drama The Legend of Taotie will air from Tuesday, December 10 every day on Youku.
