3 ASN Natuna Regency Government Perpetrators Of Obscenity And Theft Deactivated
NATUNA - Natuna Regency Government (Pemkab), Riau Islands temporarily suspended three state civil servants (ASN) suspected of committing sexual abuse and theft.
Head of the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) of Natuna Regency Muhammad Alim Sanjaya said ASN who committed sexual abuse were teachers.
"It has been temporarily dismissed regarding two unscrupulous teachers (in the case of sexual abuse) and one employee who works in the Serasan Island area," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, May 16.
He explained that the suspects have the potential to be dismissed forever or fired if after trial, they must serve a prison sentence of more than two years.
"However, if under two years, the sentence is complete, the suspect must report again and later the (Regent) leader will determine whether the suspect is continued or not," he said.
He said, a few years ago, the Natuna Regency Government had permanently dismissed ASN personnel who repeated mistakes.
"In the past, there were people who stumbled on drug cases, because the sentence was under two years and he promised not to repeat his actions again, so it was approved or temporarily revoked, but after that he turned out to be repeating it again and was immediately stopped," he said.
He said last year the Natuna Regency Government had dismissed one ASN person who had violated the rules.
"He (the ASN) did not come to work for a long time, his office didn't even know where he was, we were also confused about wanting to give him a letter (reprimand), because he had not been to work for a long time, so we did that (fire)," he added.
