OIKN Leaks Third Stage IKN Groundbreaking Schedule: God Willing, Mid-December
The Capital Archipelago Authority (OIKN) leaked the schedule for the groundbreaking or groundbreaking of the third phase of the private project at IKN.
According to the plan, the groundbreaking phase of the third will be carried out in mid-December 2023.
"God willing, it will be in mid-December. Only the date has not yet been determined," said OIKN spokesman Troy Pantouw in Jakarta, Friday, November 24.
Troy said the certainty of the groundbreaking schedule was adjusted to the working time of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
"Wait a while and the willingness of the president, especially, but from OIKN itself is preparing for the gorundbreaking," he said.
He added that there will be three aspects that will groundbreaking in the third stage, namely the green or green aspect.
Then, aspects of infrastructure related to community needs, as well as financial institutions.
Although he has leaked this, Troy has not been able to provide details about which investors will groundbreaking the third stage later.
"We have not been able to convey the names because everything is still in process. Later, when the date is approaching, we will submit the details," he added.
As previously reported, the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN) said it had received as many as 305 Letter of Intent (LoI) or the initial commitment to investing in IKN Nusantara.

"Most of them are Indonesian investors. Of the 305 LoIs, 172 are red and white investors. So, it can be seen how fast domestic investors are, from submitted to an agreement," Agung said in an online media briefing, Monday, November 20.

Agung said the investment stage, which started from the submission of LoI to the agreement reached by domestic investors, was faster than foreign investors.
The details of the 305 LoI consist of 172 LoI, Singapore 27 LoI, Japan 25 LoI, Malaysia 19 LoI, China 19 LoI, South Korea nine LoI, United States (US) seven LoI, Finland three LoI, Spain three LoI, United Arab Emirates (UAE) two LoI, Thailand two LoI, Germany two LoI, and others 18 LoI.
