Friday Morning, The Body Of A Brimob Member Victim Of The KKB Shooting Arrived In Kupang NTT

The body of Bharatu Anumerta Bonifasius Java (22), a member of the Brimob Polda NTT, who was the victim of the shooting of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Intan Jaya Papua, arrived at El Tari Kupang Airport, Kupang City, NTT Friday, November 24 morning.

AnTARA reporter at El Tari Airport reported that the arrival of the body using one of the airlines on the Jakarta-Kupang route arrived at 06.08 WITA

The arrival of the bodies was picked up by a number of TNI personnel and Brimob members in Kupang City and also greeted with sobs from the families of the victims who were also present to welcome Bonifasius.

Bharatu Anumerta Bonifasius Jawa is a member of the Brimob Polda NTT who was shot during a firefight between KKB Intan Jaya and the Cartenz Peace Task Force (CDC Task Force) around Titigi Village, Intan Jaya Regency, Papua on Wednesday.

During the firefight, two members of the NTT Mobile Brigade Unit DC Task Force were shot. Bharaka Rani Yohanes Seran was shot in the left thigh and is currently still being treated intensively.

Meanwhile, Bharada Bonifasius Java alias Boy died when he was shot in the right back.

The Head of Public Relations of the NTT Police, Kombes Pol Ariasandy, said that upon arrival at El Tari Airport, the victim's body would be temporarily buried at the NTT Police Mobile Brigade Headquarters.

After several hours of being buried at the Mobile Brigade Headquarters, then at 10.00 WITA, the body was dispatched to his hometown in Soa, Bajawa, Ngada Regency.
