KPK Holds OTT, Arrests State Organizers In East Kalimantan

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) task force team conducted a hand arrest operation (OTT) in East Kalimantan (Kaltim). There are state officials who were arrested by the KPK in the OTT. "It is true, last Thursday at around 19.45 WIB, the KPK has arrested the East Kalimantan Province for state officials suspected of committing criminal acts of corruption," said KPK spokesman Ali Fikri, Friday, November 24. The parties who were secured through the OTT are still undergoing intensive examination by the KPK. Ali Fikri ensured that the KPK would always convey developments from this OTT.

"Currently, the arrested parties are still being investigated by the KPK team. The progress will be conveyed," said Ali Fikri. The anti-corruption agency has 1 x 24 hours to check and determine the legal status of the parties caught OTT. Their status will be submitted to the public through a press conference.
