The 2023 U-17 World Cup Is An Opportunity To Learn From FIFA To Fix The Indonesian Competition
JAKARTA - PSSI Deputy General Chair, Ratu Thasha Destria, said that holding the 2023 U-17 World Cup was an important momentum for PSSI and all football stakeholders in Indonesia to learn a lot from FIFA.
Ratu Tisha explained that football management is not only related to technical areas, but also involves various sectors. Therefore, the 2023 U-17 World Cup is expected to be an opportunity to gain knowledge on how to manage ideal football.
"First, definitely for football. This (U-17 World Cup 2023) tournament is in accordance with the theme set by FIFA, namely Inspiring Stars, which means it must be one thing that inspires people, especially for those who will become talents and be involved in football," said Ratu Tisha in an official statement on Tuesday, November 14.
Not only players, but also coaches, referees, administrators, all events organizer areas, media, communications, brands, and others, can inspire how the 2023 U-17 World Cup will be held according to FIFA standards," he continued.

Ratu Tisha also mentioned that the 2023 U-17 World Cup in Indonesia is a moment to take many lessons. The main reason is that FIFA appointed a country to host this championship to help develop football in the host country.
Another thing that must be learned from the U-17 World Cup event is match management. Therefore, PSSI as the Indonesian football federation places certain people in the championship committee so that later they can directly implement their experiences to manage competition better.
The main area that is important to study is match management. Therefore, the Head of Competition in the LOC (Local Organizing Committee) area is filled by the Competition Director of PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB). We do that so that we can directly implement the transfer of knowledge for improvements in the Indonesian League," said Thasha.
That's why the match management area is the main thing for us to improve. We study all the directions and detail of the regulations, how to do it," he continued.
