Cak Imin Optimistic To Raise 60 Percent Of Votes In East Java
SITUBONDO - The vice presidential candidate from the Change Coalition Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) said that the presidential/vice presidential candidate pair Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin (AMIN) were optimistic that they would be able to get 60 percent of the votes in East Java Province in the 2024 election.
"We are optimistic that it will increase by 60 percent," said Cak Imin to reporters after the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Sukorejo Islamic Boarding School gathering, Sumberejo Village, Banyuputih District, Situbondo reported by ANTARA, Friday, November 10.
In the friendship agenda, Cak Imin also asked for his blessing on his candidacy with presidential candidate Anies Baswedan to the caretaker of the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School Sukorejo KH R Achmad Azaim Ibrahimy in the hope of winning the presidential election on February 14, 2024.
Cak Imin believes that 60 percent of the votes in East Java Province are because almost all pesantren provide their support to AMIN couples.
Cak Imin also stated that the adviser to Ponpes Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Sukorejo, Nyai Hj.Juwairiyah gave support to the prospective presidential/vice presidential candidate AMIN.

"Alhamdulillah, the support from Nyai Juwairiyah is extraordinary, Kiai Azaim is extraordinary, hopefully it will bring our spirit," he said.
Previously, on the momentum of National Hero's Day 2023 Cak Imin accompanied by the Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration (Minister of PDTT) Abdul Halim Iskandar made a pilgrimage to the grave of the National Hero KH R. As'ad Syamsul Arifin in the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Sukorejo Islamic Boarding School area, Situbondo.
Before visiting Kiai As'ad's grave, Cak Imin together with PDTT Village Minister Abdul Halim and his entourage first prayed Friday at the mosque, Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Sukorejo Islamic Boarding School area.
