Kaltara Forms TPAKD To Accelerate Financial Access For Citizens

TANJUNG SELOR Governor of North Kalimantan, Zainal A Paliwang formed a district/city level Regional Financial Access Implementation Team (TPAKD) to increase the acceleration of access to finance for the community.

This commitment is a follow-up to the formation of the TPAKD of Kaltara Province some time ago.

"Until now, only Tarakan City has TPAKD established. Meanwhile, 4 other districts have not been formed and are in the process of being formed," said Zainal, Wednesday, November 8.

Zainal said broad and quality financial access provides an opportunity for the community to obtain the financial resources needed to develop their business and meet their daily needs.

"In addition, financial access is one of the important factors in encouraging the economy and welfare of the community. One of the efforts to accelerate financial access in the regions is to form a TPAKD," explained the Governor.

TPAKD is a coordination forum for government institutions and stakeholders. The goal is to accelerate financial access in the regions, especially in regional economic growth and improve the social welfare of the community.

"The presence of this TPAKD to improve regional financial literacy also encourages welfare in all regencies/cities. Those who have the task of coordinating and encouraging efforts to increase financial access for the community," he concluded.
