JAKARTA - Deki (40) was battered by being beaten with a firearm by an individual member of the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency (BNN RI) on Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo, Cawang District, East Jakarta.
Head of the Public Relations and Protocol Bureau of BNN RI Brigadier General Sulistyo Pudjo Hartono, the commotion occurred on Monday, November 6.
That Monday morning, at around 09.00 WIB, a BNN member named Pahala Damaris Tambunan left for the BNN RI office on a motorbike. When passing in the area around Kodam Jaya, Cawang, the traffic flow was jammed. Pahala drove from the direction of PGC to BNN RI.
Then suddenly there was another motorcyclist who went the opposite direction from Cawang to PGC and cut across the road. Then the BNN member was reprimanded because it was very dangerous for other vehicle users
"Then from behind there was an unknown person who was later identified as Diki reprimanded the person concerned (Pahala). Diki said 'bang don't be harsh, it's an old man'," Brigadier General Pudjo told reporters, Wednesday, November 8.
Then the BNN member answered Deki's words until there was a heated debate between the victim and the perpetrator of the persecution.
"Debat while walking," he said.

Then Diki kicked Pahala's motorbike. Not long after, Diki (back) stopped in front of UKI Hospital. Then Diki took off his helmet and Pahala came to Diki.
"Then there was a debate (again) there and Pahala then stuck with the handle of an official rifle to Diki's head," he said.
Even Pahala had claimed to be a member of Kopassus to the victim.
"Pahala said 'I live in Cijantung'. That's right, that Pahala is a resident (resident) of Kalisari, Cijantung," he said.
After the commotion that led to the persecution, Pahala was then picked up by the victim Diki's family.
"Pala and his family went to the East Jakarta Police Station to be reported. After being checked, there was an agreement between Pahala and Diki with a peace agreement. (the victim) Diki was treated by Pahala at the Police Hospital accompanied by the person concerned," he said.
Meanwhile, an eye witness to the incident, Royal Sianturi, said the beating occurred after a collision between the victim and the perpetrator occurred.
"Yesterday, the problem was a little bit, kept arguing," said the street vendors around the scene to reporters.
According to Royal, the incident began when Diki was passing in front of UKI Cawang Hospital. Because the streets were jammed, Diki's motorbike and the perpetrators grazed each other.
Shortly before the victim and the perpetrator stopped the vehicle on the side of the road, the victim had pointed his middle finger.
"The victim (strengthened the middle finger) then (the perpetrator) immediately stopped, got down, took the weapon from the bag, (the victim) was hit in the head," he said.
