Israel Asks Taylor Swift To Help Find Missing Youth Soldiers

JAKARTA - Israel called for Taylor Swift's help to find a teenage soldier who has been missing since the Hamas attack earlier last month.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry through their official X/Twitter website and tweeted Swift to urge her to help find Roni Eshel, who is described as a large Swiftie.

Spread this message to the universe in the hope of reaching @taylorswift13, his tweet began.

- Roni (19) Eshel, who is a great Swiftie, has been missing since the October 7 massacre. It would be very meaningful for Roni's family if Taylor used his platform to call for Roni's return.

According to The Times of Israel, Eshel has been a member of the Israeli Defense Forces for one year and two months, where she works as one of the communication supervisors at a military base near Kibbutz Nahal Oz.

He is part of a team of soldiers who oversee the cameras mounted on a high-tech barrier penetrated by Hamas.

In a subsequent tweet, the Ministry said: Israeli Swifties wear bracelets under Roni's name for Era tour screenings in Israel, to raise awareness and help bring Roni home. @ taylorswift13. Please use your platform with millions of followers to help us find Roni and bring her home."

According to NBC News, the death toll in Israel is still around 1,400 people. While the number of people killed in Gaza has surpassed 10,000.
