Anticipating Hepatitis B, Health Workers In Tangerang Regency Will Be Immunized

TANGERANG - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) plans to immunize Health Workers (Nakes) in Tangerang Regency to prevent transmission of the Hepatitis B virus.

Head of the Tangerang District Health Office, Dr. Achmad Muchlis, said the activity was to prevent the spread of Hepatitis B for health workers. The plan is for the activity to be carried out at the Tangerang Regency Hospital, Wednesday, November 8, morning.

"Yes, that's right tomorrow," Muchlis said in a short message, Tuesday, November 7.

He explained the reason why health workers in his area were given vitamin Hepatitis B. Karana virus hepatitis B is at high risk. Thus, it is important to immunize as an effort to protect medical personnel and health workers.

"The immunization of Hepatitis B is also an effort to accelerate the achievement of the goal of elimination of Hepatitis B in 2030," he said.
