Land Dispute Makes 2 Schools In Tanah Datar West Sumatra Closed, Learning And Teaching Process Moved

SUMBAR - A total of two schools in Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra (West Sumatra), were closed due to land disputes. The two buildings are SMPN 2 and SDN 20 Batusangkar.

Principal of SMNP 2 Batusangkar, Defison said that his school was closed, allegedly the trigger for land disputes by people claiming to own land with the local government. The closure was carried out by locking and posting banners on the school fence, including the school principal's room and teacher's room on Monday 6 November morning. The banner reads, "We have closed the notification of the SMPN 2 Batusangkar land for an undetermined period of time because it is in the processing of certificates and other legal processes.
