French Open 2023: Hendra/Ahsan Smoothly To The Second Round

JAKARTA - Men's doubles pair Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan beat Lu Ching Yao/Yang Po Han to qualify for the second round of the French Open 2023.

The Daddies won two straight games 21-17 and 21-16 over the Chinese Taipei pair at Glaz Arena, Rennes, France, Tuesday, October 24, 2023 evening WIB.

This is Henda/Ahsan's sixth victory over Lu/Yang in their eight meetings.

In addition, these results also avenge their two consecutive defeats, each at the Denmark Open last year and this year's Australian Open.

Hendra/Ahsan are the second representatives of the men's doubles to qualify for the second round of the BWF Super 750 level event.

Before them, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, who was the first seed, had already qualified after defeating the Scottish pair, Alexander Dunn/Adam Hall.
