Arrangement Of The Dolokgede GOR Area In Bojonegoro Rampung December 2023

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Directorate General of Human Settlements is targeting the arrangement of the Dolokgede sports arena (GOR) area in Bojonegoro, East Java, to be completed in December 2023.

"The work on the arrangement of the Dolokgede sports area will begin on May 31 and is targeted for completion according to the contract on December 31, 2023," said Director General of Human Settlements of the Ministry of PUPR Diana Kusumastuti in a press release, Friday, October 20.

Diana said that the arrangement of this area utilizes an area of 1.96 hectares (ha) with APBN funds of Rp. 18.5 billion. "Currently, the construction progress has reached 47.54 percent," he said.

The scope of construction includes the management office, parking area, volleyball court, jogging track, gate, football field and stands, ticket space, children's and adults' swimming pool, rinse room, and food court.

Then, the parking area, which was previously minimal in lighting, now looks beautiful with a neat arrangement of light.

With this arrangement, Diana advised the East Java Regional Settlement Infrastructure Center (BPPW) as the person in charge of the work to pay attention to aesthetic aspects and increase the number of plants.

"When it's finished, please tidy it up more, the landscape must be equipped with beautiful plants to make it more shady," he said.

Meanwhile, Acting (Pj) Regent Bojonegoro Adriyanto expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of PUPR for building sports facilities and infrastructure to support the existence of GOR DolokGede, so that it can be used for sports coaching in Bojonegoro.

"It is extraordinary to support the Ministry of PUPR with its infrastructure. Hopefully, this facility can be used by the community to support sports activities and the development of local athletes," he said.
