PPI Committed To Maintaining The Quality Of Food Assistance For Handling Stunting

JAKARTA - PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (PPI), member of ID Food, ensures that the quality of chicken and eggs distributed in the Stunting Handling Food Assistance program is well maintained. PPI as a product provider continues to ensure that chicken and eggs distribution from upstream to recipients who are registered as a stunted risk family (KRS) are suitable for consumption.

Kepala Sekretariat Perusahaan PPI, Noverita Anggraeny, menyampaikan bahwa PPI sebagai penyedia produk di Jawa Tengah terus menerapkan quality control hingga bantuan diterima oleh KRS.

Currently, PPI as part of BUMN Food Holding ID Food, is distributing Phase II Stunting Handling Assistance in Central Java Province. Previously, in the first phase, PPI had distributed it in West Java Province.

"We are committed to continuing to provide good quality products for recipient families," said Noverita, Thursday, October 19.

Control over the quality of chicken meat and eggs is carried out from the acceptance of products from farmer partners, to the distribution process, by deploying personnel directly to carry out control.

"We also ensure that the chicken meat distributed has been certified halal, certified NKV, packaged in plastic containers and is not contaminated with foreign objects, and the eggs are brown, unrecovered, the surface is smooth, and there is no dirt," he explained.

PPI will continue to be committed to providing products that are suitable for consumption and quality for programs assigned by the National Food Agency in collaboration with PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) as transporters until assistance is received by the recipient's family.

Noverita revealed that PPI took anticipatory measures if it was found that products had decreased in quality or were not suitable for consumption, as had happened in Pekalongan, where there were six chicken meat in declining quality conditions. One of them is by doing direct sorting together with the food affairs office in the local area and PT Pos Indonesia (Persero).

"We also appeal, if the recipient's family finds a decline in quality in the assistance received, in order to report back at the point of taking assistance. We will immediately carry out the process of changing products," Noverita appealed.

PPI assured all KRS as recipient families not to worry about consuming the assistance received. This is in line with PPI's commitment to prioritize the quality of assistance. PPI also continues to evaluate farmer partners regarding the quality of the products provided.

Furthermore, Noverita expressed her gratitude to various parties, such as the Regional Government, the media, and recipient communities who continue to support the implementation of the distribution of this assistance well.
