Denmark Open 2023: Fajar/Rian Qualify For Round Of 16
JAKARTA - The men's doubles pair Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto easily stepped into the second round of the Denmark Open 2023.
The first seed qualified for the second round after winning a young two straight games 21-19 and 21-14 over the Chinese Taipei Lu Ching Yao/Yang Po Han pair at Jyske Bank Arena, Wednesday, October 18, 2023 evening WIB.
This result also extends Fajar/Rian's dominance over Lu/Yang. Of the total eight meetings between them, Fajar/Rian managed to win seven times.
This is also the sixth consecutive victory Fajar/Rian recorded over the pair. Meanwhile, for 2023, this is the second win after the Korea Open.
Fajar/Rian are the second men's doubles to qualify for the second round. Before them, the last 16 tickets had already been secured by veteran pair Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan.
