Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih Support Law Enforcement To KKB Members
Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih Major General Izak Pangemanan expressed his support for law enforcement being promoted by the Papuan Police and the Cartenz Peace Task Force against members of the armed criminal group (KKB).
"Kodam XVII/Cenderawasih fully supports the enforcement currently being carried out on KKB members," said Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih in Jayapura as reported by ANTARA, Monday, October 9.
TNI soldiers are also members of the Cartenz Peace Task Force with the National Police and are currently carrying out law enforcement efforts after the KKB carried out a number of shootings and mistreatment of security forces and residents in the Bintang Mountains Regency.
Law enforcement must be carried out so that KKB and its sympathizers no longer commit acts of violence and arson in several areas in the Bintang Mountains Regency.
"The TNI-Polri are trying to provide a sense of security to the community so that development can run and be enjoyed by people in the area," said Izak.
According to him, the law enforcement that is currently being carried out aims to provide a sense of security to the community at the same time so that economic activities, education, and others run normally.
