Cardi B Responds To Kanye West's Clip Calling Him 'Illumination Plant', But...

JAKARTA - Cardi B responded to Kanye West by calling it the "Illumination plant" in a clip that was reportedly leaked from an unreleased 2018 documentary.

West, also known as Ye, was seen making phone calls in the clip in which he claimed that Cardi B was a plant by Illuminationati [via UPROXX].

"He didn't write his rap. He was just there to sound as stupid as possible. He was really deliberately replacing Nicki Minaj... according to him it was a blessing from the universe, it wasn't a blessing," West said of Cardi.

Cardi reacted to the leaked material on October 1 by posting a red heart emoji on Twitter/X alongside an interview clip conducted by West last year with Hollywood Unlocked. However, the response has been removed.

In a Hollywood Unlocked interview, West said, "I've always trusted him since he appeared on the show", apparently referring to the reality show Love & Hip-Hop: New York which helped launch Cardi's career.
