Prosecutors Name New Suspects In Laboratory Corruption Case At Rejang Lebong Hospital
REJANG LEBONG - Investigator of the Rejang Lebong District Attorney's Office, Bengkulu, has again named one suspect in a corruption crime (tipikor) for the construction of a hospital laboratory in the area in 2020 which cost the state Rp500 million.
Kajari Rejang Lebong Fransisko Tarigan said earlier on September 27, 2023, his party had named two suspects for alleged corruption in the construction of the RSUD Rejang Lebong laboratory for the 2020 budget year worth Rp4.6 billion, namely Hr (53) as the Commitment Making Officer (PPK), and ID (31) as a partner.
"Today we have named one suspect again, namely SR as a supervisory consultant for the RSUD Rejang Lebong laboratory construction project," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 2.
He explained that the suspect SR (26), a Bengkulu City resident, had the capacity as a supervisory consultant, but the facts found by the investigator concerned as a supervisory consultant deliberately did not carry out his duties, causing state losses.
In investigating the corruption case in the construction of the RSUD laboratory building, he said, each party was responsible for the activity.

In addition, he also appealed to parties related to this case not to accept promises and serve irresponsible parties, on behalf of the local prosecutor's office to promise assistance so that they can pass so that they are not served because his party will investigate it thoroughly.
The suspect SR together with Hr and ID, he added, was charged by the Rejang Lebong Kejari investigators with violations of articles 2 and 3 of the Corruption Crime Act with a threat of 20 years in prison.
Pada penetapan tersangka SR kali ini petugas penyidik Kejari Rejang Lebong terlebih dahulu melakukan pemeriksaan yang mulai dari pagi hingga sore hari.
