Perpetrators Of Bullying Junior High School Students In Cilacap Prosecuted By Law In Accordance With SOPs

CILACAP - Deputy Head of Cilacap Police AKBP Dr. Arief Fajar Satria confirmed that the perpetrators of bullying of junior high school students in Cimanggu District, Cilacap Regency are currently still in a special place (Patsuskan) during the process of children dealing with the law.

"We have placed the perpetrator in a special place, in a shelter house," explained Arief Fajar, in a written statement.

He further explained that the investigation and investigation process was carried out in accordance with the Child Protection Law, as well as in the process of against perpetrators and witnesses also in accordance with the Juvenile Criminal Justice System Law.

"We are on the track, tomorrow we will carry out the diversion process according to the SPPA Law stage before proceeding to the prosecutor's office level", he said.

Meanwhile, on Friday afternoon the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI), the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA), and the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (PMK) also visited the Cilacap Police Headquarters.

During the visit, the team appreciated the efforts of the Cilacap Police in carrying out the process of children in conflict with the law, in this case of bullying.

"We carry out surveillance for special child protection, including this case, we ensure that the child of the victim, the child witness, and the child of the perpetrator all proceeds in accordance with the Child Protection Law and the Child Criminal Justice System. All SOPs are appropriate, children are accompanied in every process, including assistance for the victim's child, the witness's child, and the perpetrator's child.
