Toyota Signals The Emergence Of The Latest Compact SUV Electric Car

JAKARTA - In the near future, Toyota will release the latest EV model to strengthen its commitment to presenting emission-free vehicles. This is evidenced by the manufacturer who released the teaser regarding the appearance of the latest vehicle.

In his upload on X via the official account @Toyota_PR, September 19, the manufacturer showed a short video regarding the appearance of the latest model known as the bZ Compact SUV.

The car is an electric vehicle after the camera shoots at the "BEV" emblem with a blue ring, as in the Prius. However, the Japanese manufacturer only showed the back without providing further details.

The blue circle badge depicts clean water with children running across fields and forests with light, as if giving a brand concern message to the environment.

The bZ Compact SUV concept car will debut in the near future and its production version is expected to be called bZ3X. One of Toyota's planned bZ models in the future, slightly larger than the Corolla Cross, but smaller than the RAV4.

Although the specifications have not been disclosed, it is not expected that it will be much different from what is in the bZ4X model. As an illustration, the SUV has a 214 dk electric motor and a battery that has a range of up to 406 km.

The name bZ3X has actually been used for the Toyota sedan model in China, namely bZ3, sharing a platform with bZ4X. However, the electric sedan has a long range of up to 600 km.

Toyota is also planning to bring in a new generation of electric cars scheduled to launch in 2026, Toyota hopes to sell millions of electric vehicles per year by then.

The automotive company, which was founded in 1937, will present four types of new generation batteries, three with liquid electrolytes and one with solid-state battery technology. This battery will empower about 1.7 million of the 3.5 million BEV which is expected to be sold by Toyota by 2030.
