Partypora Brings Fruit Theme, Kiki Ucup: Many Music Festivals But No Differentiation
JAKARTA - The Pestopora music festival continues to carry the theme of fruits as an identity that will be used throughout the event from year to year as a differentiator of other music festivals in Indonesia.
This was revealed by the Festival Director of Partypora, Kiki Aulia Ucup, during a media conference session in the South Jakarta area, Wednesday.
"We saw that last year there were so many music festivals, but there was no differentiation from each other. Almost every festival only changed artwork when it changed years, but no specific identity or characteristics came out. That's why this year Pestopora presents fruits as an identity that will be sustainable in the following years," he quoted Antara as saying.
Ucup said the Party which will be held from September 22 to 24 at Gambir Expo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, will present 12 stage areas with a total of 224 performers, both musicians and non-musicians.
"During the three days of implementation there will be 224 performers and this is quite a lot. Coincidentally, 90 percent of my own performers called," Ucup said with a laugh.
Another special thing that will be presented at this event is the showcase of popular musicians from several regions.
"We made a showcase of musicians from outside Jakarta who deserve to be watched from several areas, namely Jayapura, Merauke, Maluku, West Sumatra, and North Sumatra. This is a concrete form of our determination to accommodate all performers from all over Indonesia, not only from alternative genres, but also from those who are popular and big in their respective cities," he said.
Furthermore, he added that Partypora will also involve as many as 56 food outlets and Proud Indonesian-made MSMEs, as well as presenting special areas for child care with daycare facilities at venues in collaboration with Disney Indonesia.

As for the estimated number of spectators who will attend, Ucup said that until now the estimated number of ticket buyers had exceeded the previous year's Partypora achievement.
"We noted that there have been more than 97 thousand spectators who will be present for three days. The first day there were around 31 thousand, as well as the second day, and suddenly for the third day the traffic rose to 35 thousand ticket buyers. The total target per day is 31 thousand people and this has exceeded the number of viewers last year," said Ucup closing his explanation.
