Vice President Ma'ruf Amin Arrives In Indonesia After Visiting China

JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin and his wife Wury Ma'ruf Amin arrived in the country, after carrying out a series of agendas for working visits to three cities in China for six days.

Previously, when departing at Shanghai Pudong International Airport, the Vice President and his entourage were released by the Indonesian Ambassador to China Djauhari Oratmangun and the wife of Sih Elsiwi Handayani Oratmangun, Deputy Director General of FAO Shanghai Liu Guangyong, Actioning Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia Shanghai Faramela, and the Indonesian Defense Attache (Athan) Beijing Brigadier General Mar. Benny Poltak Nadeak and his wife Desy Sulastri Tampubolon.

After traveling about 5 hours 46 minutes from Shanghai, the Garuda Indonesia (GIA-2) plane carrying the Vice President and his entourage landed at Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Jakarta at 19.10 WIB.

Also welcoming the arrival of the Vice President, Acting Governor of Banten Al Muktabar along with the entire ranks of the Banten Province Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda).

Furthermore, the Vice President and Wury Ma'ruf Amin's wife immediately went to the official residence to rest and prepare for the next state agenda.

As is known, the Vice President and Wury Ma'ruf Amin visited three cities in China, namely Fuzhou, Nanning, and Shanghai since Thursday (14/9).

In this visit, apart from attending and delivering a speech at the opening of the 20th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and the 20th China-ASEAN Business Investment Summit (CABIS), the Vice President also held meetings with a number of top Chinese officials, including Prime Minister Li Qiang.

In addition, the Vice President also met with major Chinese entrepreneurs to increase trade cooperation and investment in Indonesia-Chingkok, especially in the halal product industry.
