TANGERANG - Imam Masykur's cousin, Said Sulaiman, said that his nephew had been kidnapped more than once. However, at that time Imam was immediately released after his family paid Rp15 million to the perpetrator.
"Yes (twice), but it's been a long time. He's been in Jakarta for 1.5 years. So it hasn't been 2 months since he was kidnapped either. At that time he worked in someone's shop. At that time he was paid around 15 million (the ransom)," Said said when confirmed, Monday, August 28.
Said explained that when Imam Masykur was kidnapped, both the first and the second had the same method, namely being taken to a car and then beaten. After that, continued Said, the perpetrator asked for a ransom.
"It's the same if I see the same motive, the person is beaten in the car and then asks for a ransom," he said.
Said said that when the second Imam was kidnapped, the perpetrator used police attributes.
"I think he's a police officer, instead he used the attributes of the police during the arrest. That's what the witness said there, his body was built in a vest written by the police," he said.
"The first one that dropped one person immediately entered the shop, guard the pushing shop," he added.
