Not Invited To 25th Anniversary, PDIP Respects PAN's Decision
PDI-P Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto has no problem that his party was not invited to the PAN 25th Anniversary which was held at the Sultan Hotel, Senayan, Jakarta, today.
PAN only invited parties in the Greater Indonesia Awakening Coalition (KKIR), namely the Gerindra, PKB, and Golkar parties.
Hasto said that the PDI struggles to keep in touch with PAN even though currently it is different regarding the choice of support for presidential candidates (candidates). PDIP, he said, respects the political decisions of the party chaired by Zulkifli Hasan.
"We congratulate the birthday of the National Mandate Party. We are still communicating, it's just that we have to understand that the National Mandate Party has brought Pak Prabowo Subianto as a presidential candidate, we respect the decision from PAN," said Hasto at the PDIP DPP office, Jakarta, Monday, August 28.
Hasto ensured that the political cooperation between PDIP and PAN was still ongoing outside the support for the 2024 presidential election.
"Besides that (the presidential election), there is still political cooperation, for example in the upcoming 2024 Pilkada, parliamentary cooperation is still going well, even though the choice of the presidential candidate is different, we respect that," said Hasto.
"Once again happy birthday, hopefully carry out its mandate for the people of Indonesia," he concluded.
VOIR éGALEMENT:
It is known that the 25th anniversary of PAN did not invite PDIP, PPP and NasDem as government coalition parties outside the pro-P Prabowo Subianto coalition.
According to PAN Secretary General Eddy Soeparno, there is no special reason for the 25th PAN anniversary not to invite the three parties.
"So we appreciate that the government coalition is also friendly. But that doesn't mean that if we don't invite friendship to crack, no," said Eddy, Sunday, August 27.
PAN only invited Golkar, Gerindra and PKB because they wanted to strengthen cooperation for the benefit of the coalition.
"I think friendship continues, but in order to carry out the PAN anniversary, we also see that our cooperation in the future will be even closer to friends in the coalition," he continued.
