Ganjar Pranowo Asks Muhammadiyah To Help Social Control And Create New Jobs
Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo said Muhammadiyah has a rooted intellectual tradition. For this reason, Muhammadiyah Youth must be able to provide enlightenment and become a group for social control. It is also a research space to create new jobs for the younger generation in the future.
"So far, we have been helped to talk about youth with friends from Muhammadiyah Youth. There are stories of science and technology because Muhammadiyah also has quite good intellectual traditions," said Ganjar after giving a speech at the opening of the Muhammadiyah Youth Rapimwil III at Muhammadiyah University. Semarang (Unimus), Friday 25 August.
Ganjar explained that intellectual traditions in science and technology are evidenced by the many schools and universities advanced from Muhammadiyah. His vision is also good for the nation and state.
"It must be a scientific movement and real work. No less important is to provide enlightenment to other youths. Muhammadiyah youth can become a group for social control," said Ganjar Pranowo.
Ganjar then gave an illustration of how many creative young people are emerging today. They gather according to the common vision, for example in the research field, then gamers group, and there is also good content creators.
"That's what today is certainly being discussed in the congress. Later, a new management will be formed and we hope that the next program will really be a program that can anticipate the needs of young people in the future."
"Now they are nervous about work, so how is it possible to make a job creation, as creative as possible they can take advantage of the information technology with a good adaptation," said Ganjar.
Ganjar also highlighted the tradition in the leadership of Muhammadiyah Youth. It is known that the chairman of Muhammadiyah Youth can only be elected for one term of management. According to Ganjar, this actually makes everyone know where the limit is and prepares cadres and an accurate program.
"I think this is a good tradition. It means that organizationally it is forced to prepare cadres. Then the content is programs."
"I think Muhammadiyah friends can and have other activities, which if I say it's not finished. We hope that at least deliberation will run smoothly, deliberation and consensus must be unified, the program anticipates this rapid change," said Ganjar Pranowo.
