BPBD Proposes Disaster-affected Infrastructure Improvement In Bima 2023, BNPB Field Verification

NTB - The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) will check the damage to the impact of natural disasters in 2023 in the Bima Regency area, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province.

"This is a stage of field verification for handling emergency infrastructure in a number of sub-districts affected by natural disasters in Bima Regency," said the Head of BPBD Bima Regency, Isyrah, Wednesday, August 23, quoted by Antara.

He said the field verification stage was a follow-up to the proposal for ready-to-use funds (DSP) for the improvement of emergency infrastructure in Bima Regency.

"BNPB is committed to disbursing budget support for handling 35 priority locations affected by the disaster," he said.

He said the handling of the emergency infrastructure for natural disaster hydrometeorology was prioritized in improving emergency infrastructure in the field of irrigation, the field of marga development and the area of creating works spread over 10 sub-districts.

The 10 sub-districts are in Palibelo, Woha, Bolo, Madapangga, Lambitu, Ambalawi, Wera, Sape, Wawo and Langgudu sub-districts.

"The impact of the disaster that will be repaired is spread across 10 sub-districts," he said.

Meanwhile, BNPB Verification Team Rudy Supriadi said that his party carried out stages of field verification for handling emergency infrastructure in a number of sub-districts affected by the 2023 natural disaster in Bima Regency.

"We are verifying the disaster impact data that occurred in 2023," he said.
