Central Kalimantan Police Deploy 2,000 Personnel To Secure Tabligh Akbar Habib Umar In Palangka Rayya

PALANGKA RAYA - Central Kalimantan Police deployed 2,000 personnel to secure the tabligh akbar Al Habib Umar Bin Hafidz which will take place at Tuah Pahoe Stadium, Palangka Raya City on Wednesday, August 23.

The Head of Public Relations of the Central Kalimantan Police, Kombes Erlan Munji, said that the 2,000 personnel involved in securing the grand tabligh were also ready to secure the activities from start to finish the activity.

"The personnel involved come from the Central Kalimantan Police, Palangka Raya Police, TNI, government agencies and community organizations," Erlan said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 22.

Personnel will later be placed on every piece of the road that has been determined and to guard the location of the event centered at Tuah Pahoe Stadium and the Multipurpose Sports Building (GOR) which are not far from the stadium.

"Currently we are conducting a security rehearsal for the personnel involved. We will continue to prepare from pick-up to the return of Al Habib Umar Bin Hafidz's entourage later," he explained.

Based on observations in the field, the committee's readiness for the activity is almost 90 percent. Even the infrastructure provided for the congregation, whose information was also attended by residents from neighboring provinces.
