SBY*ANI Museum And Gallery Inaugurated August 17th

PACITAN - The SBY*ANI Museum and Gallery located on the South Ring Road, Ploso Village, Pacitan Regency, East Java is scheduled to be inaugurated on August 17, 2023, along with the celebration of the 78th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence.

Executive Director of the SBY*ANIOssy Museum and Art Gallery, Darmawan, said the inauguration would be led directly by the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and witnessed by at least 800 invited guests.

"Alhamdulillah, the good day has been set by Mr. SBY. God willing, the SBY*ANI art title will be inaugurated on Thursday, August 17 and will be opened to the general public," Ossy said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, August 14.

The news of this inauguration was also welcomed by the joy of the people, especially Pacitan residents who were proud of the existence of the museum that was built by the 6th president of the Republic of Indonesia.

In addition to being a National icon, the existence of a museum that stands on an area of 1.5 hectares with the concept of a magnificent building resembling a white building palace is expected to be an educational tour for the surrounding community and tourists.

The SBY*ANI Museum and Gallery is the journey or track record of the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

"In this museum, there are various rooms that are packaged in such a way that the residents who visit feel like the atmosphere that SBY has experienced so far," said Ossy.

According to him, the museum clearly recorded a picture of SBY's travel history.

Not only when he served as the number one person in Indonesia, but there was a journey of SBY's youth.

The inauguration ceremony is certain to be lively. There were 800 invited guests scheduled to attend that special moment.

Most of them come from Pacitan Regency itself. While the next invitations are former cabinet minister SBY, extended family, AKABRI alumni colleague 1973, and other guests of honor.

The day after its inauguration, the museum will immediately open to the public with operating hours from 09.00 WIB to 17.00 WIB. Services are open every day except Tuesday.

The daily holidays each week are used by the manager for treatment.

Ossy explained that the construction of the museum in Pacitan cannot be separated from SBY's history. The son of the couple R Soekotjo and Mrs. Habibah was born until she spent her teenage years in Pacitan.

All inspiring stories since young SBY underwent school until he took the highest position as president were emblazoned in the museum.

The hope is that this can inspire and encourage today's generation to serve Mother Earth.
