JAKARTA - The film Dear Jo (Almost is Never Enough) by director Monty Tiwa and Lakonde will hit Indonesian cinemas starting August 10. The film Dear Jo (Almost is Never Enough) tells the story of a young husband and wife couple named Joshua (Jourdy Pranata) and Maura (Salsabila Adriani). They also live and work in Baku, Azerbaijan and live a fairly well-established life.
However, both of them had to experience the bitter pill when Maura was diagnosed unable to get pregnant. In the midst of the empty feelings felt by Maura, her best friend named Ella (Anggika Bolsterli) and living close to Maura was also willing to make Maura a surrogate mother (student mother) of her child.
Fate said otherwise. When Ella was pregnant, the news of Maura's death came to her. Maura reportedly died in a tragic accident and made Ella and Maura's husband, Joshua, very devastated.
