Sadistic! Vocalist Orisinal Slipknot And Mushroohead Take Part In New Single Kaosis
Anders Colsefni and Jeffrey Nothing, each original vocalist of Slipknot and Mushroomhead, were guests in Breaking The Fallen, a new single belonging to New Zealand metal unit, Kaosis.
Breaking The Fallen is a progressive nu-metal song featuring the heart-sharing vocals of Anders' parau and strong lyrics on the bridge section.
Meanwhile, Nothing brings a chorus that soars with its distinctive melodic aggression. Two fierce voices complement each other and contrast, together creating a very deep and sadistic experience.
The seeds from this special musical collaboration were initiated for the first time in 2014 for the album Mushroomhead, The Righteous and the Butterfly. However, due to scheduling issues, the plan never happened.
"Jeff and I saw doing this years ago, but Xen and the Kaosis gang allowed it all. Jeff is a great vocalist and it was amazing to finally work with him," Anders said, quoted from Blabbermouth. Friday.
The video clip for Breaking The Fallen was inspired by the 1980s classic cyberpunk film and was recorded entirely on the green screen during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Xen, vocalist of Kaosis and director of this video clip, is a big fan of "Robocop" and he brings enthusiasm for this film into his video.
"Breaking The Fallen is about perseverance through trauma to become a stronger and more resilient human being," Xen said of the lyrics of the song Breaking The Fallen.
The song also features DJ Storm's best-known turntables for her work with Eminem, Public Enemy, and Ice-T. Storm added an aggressive golden-era scratch layer to its soundscape.
Breaking The Fallen is the single from the second album to come Kaosis, We Are The Future. The effort features Jeremia▁perbaikant (American Head Charge) on the drums and Peredur Ap Gulynedd (Pendulum) on the guitar.
