Police Confiscate 1.6 Kg Of Methamphetamine For A Week In Jambi

Jambi Police confiscated 1.6 kilograms of methamphetamine from ten suspects in a week.

"They were secured in different places and the evidence that was successfully secured was also different," said Jambi Police Chief Kombes Eko Wahyudi, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, August 7.

The suspects were detained at six different crime scenes (TKP). The first location is Mayang Village, Jambi City, where officers managed to secure one person and three grams of crystal methamphetamine in this location.

Furthermore, in the second location, the police arrested two suspects together with evidence of seven grams of crystal methamphetamine.

Meanwhile, at the third location in Telanaipura, the police arrested one suspect and 11 grams of crystal methamphetamine as evidence.

At the fourth crime scene, the police arrested a perpetrator in the Sipin area, Jambi City. From the perpetrator, the police confiscated two grams of crystal methamphetamine.

Furthermore, at the fifth TKP, from the results of the development of the first and fourth crime scenes, officers managed to secure quite a lot of evidence, which was 945 grams.

Then on August 6, 2023, the police arrested four suspects in the Jelutung area. From the perpetrators, 670 grams of crystal methamphetamine were obtained.

At the last crime scene, the police secured evidence of methamphetamine stored by the perpetrator in one of the elementary school ceilings in Jambi City. Officers managed to secure 670 grams of crystal methamphetamine.

"This is one of the perpetrators' modes. So it is not stored at home but at the roof ceiling of one of the elementary schools, the status of the perpetrators is as a dealer," he said.
