16 Prostitutes Netted By Bogor Satpol PP, 3 Of Them Are Pregnant

BOGOR - The Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) and the Bogor Regency Social Service (Dinsos) carried out operations to control community diseases (pekat) and nets of 16 Commercial Sex Workers (PSK) in the Cibinong District, Bogor Regency.

Acting Head of the General Order Division of the Bogor Regency Satpol PP, Rhama Kodara, said these prostitutes were caught selling themselves through online applications.

"The target for online prostitution operations is in the form of Mi-chat," said Rhama on Wednesday, August 2.

Rhama explained that the operation was carried out at several points suspected of being a place of prostitution.

"From the 4 rented locations and massage parlors, we got 17 people and were immediately taken to the shop for an assessment with the Social Service," he explained.

Furthermore, Rhama also explained that of the 17 people caught, 16 of them worked as prostitutes in the Bogor Regency area.

"From the 17th, 16 people were declared positive and 1 person was negative. However, of the 16 3 of them were pregnant," he said.

Rhama said that in the end the Satpol PP handed over the 13 prostitutes to the Social Service Office to be directed to a rehabilitation facility located at the Rehabilitation Center in the Cibadak area, Sukabumi.

Meanwhile, 3 other prostitutes who tested positive for pregnancy were then returned to their respective families.

"Dinsos recommends that those be sent to rehabilitation centers in Cibadak Sukabumi," he said.
