Police Raid A Hut For Meth Party On Pandan Island Jambi, 4 Perpetrators Escape, Jump Into The River

JAMBI - The police raided the hut where the methamphetamine party was held on Pandan Island, Legok Village, Danau Sipin District, Jambi City on Thursday 27 July afternoon. Out of the 9 perpetrators, 4 people ran away and plunged into the Batanghari River.

Head of Resnarkoba Polresta Jambi Police Commissioner Nico Darutama said that two of the perpetrators who were arrested were women.

"After we dismantled the hut, the officers burned it to the ground," Nico said in Jambi, Thursday, July 27, quoted by Antara.

The joint team from the Jambi Police and the Telanaipura Police in this activity also secured evidence in the form of methamphetamine suction equipment and also several motorbikes from the perpetrators.

This raid was carried out after the police received information that in the Lake Sipin area, drug parties were still rife at riverside huts

"For the next process, the perpetrators and evidence were developed and are in the process of further examination," said Nico.
