Toyota Innova Zenix HEV Launches In Thailand, What's The Difference With The Version In Indonesia?
JAKARTA - After being present in Malaysia and Indonesia, Toyota presented the mainstay MPV of Innova Zenix for the Thai market. Interestingly, Toyota brought two variants, both of which were hybrid.
Toyota Innova Zenix for the Thai market has the same design as Indonesia. Starting from LED lights on the front and back, large grips, to the overall shape of this car is very familiar.
Zenix was built on the GA-C platform of the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA), Innova Zenix has a dimensions of 4,755 mm, a width of 1,860 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,850 mm, providing a wide space and comfort for passengers.
In terms of interior, the specifications offered in Indonesia include a 10-inch dual back entertainment display, a panoramic roof, and Toyota Safety Sense advanced safety features.
Apart from that, the MPV medium is also presented with other safety features such as ABD, Brave Assist, EBD, VSC, Track Control, Hill Start Assist, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, and is equipped with six airbags.
Reporting from the Paultan page, Monday, July 24, in Thailand, Innova Zenix is available in the 2.0 HEV Smart variant and 2.0 HEV Premium. Both of these variants have the same engine and performance. Equipped with a 2.0 liter M20A-FXS 4-cylinder naturally-asspirated engine which produces 149 dk of power and 187 Nm of torque.
This engine is combined with an electric motor measuring 111 dk and a torque of 205 Nm. The total resulting combination power reaches 184 dk. The electric power is channeled from a nickel-metal hybrid battery with a capacity of 6.5 Ah accompanied by e-CVT transmission.
The difference is only related to prices. The Zenix Hybrid Innova in Thailand is priced from 1.3 million Baht or around Rp600 million to 1.4 million Baht or equivalent to Rp645 million.
This price is certainly quite expensive when comparing it to the Zenix Hybrid Innova which is sold in the country which starts at IDR 468.6 million to IDR 621.6 million.
In Indonesia, Toyota pinned the name "Kijang" in the middle of the name of Innova Zenix. Meanwhile, in Thailand, the name was not presented, just like the Malaysian market.
For the Elephant Country market, the Toyota Innova Zenix Hybrid is available in four color choices, namely Dark Steel Mica, Attitude Black Mica, Silver Metallic, and Platinum White Pearl.
