Get Ready! PTBA Distributes IDR 1,094 Dividend Per Share

JAKARTA - PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) will distribute dividends of 100 percent of 2022's profit of IDR 12.6 trillion today.

Later each shareholder will receive Rp1,094 per share.

"According to the decision of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for the 2022 financial year which will be held on June 15, 2023, PTBA will distribute 100 percent of the Company's net profit for the 2022 financial year as dividends," said PTBA Corporate Secretary Apollonius Andwie in a written statement to the media, Friday, July 14.

Cash dividends were distributed to shareholders whose names were recorded in the Company's shareholder register on June 27, 2023 or recording date.

Just so you know, throughout 2022, PTBA recorded positive performance in terms of operations and finance.

The company managed to record a net profit of IDR 12.6 trillion or 159 percent from the previous year which was valued at IDR 7.9 trillion.

Apollonius explained that the achievement of net profit was supported by revenue of IDR 42.6 trillion or 146 percent compared to 2021 which amounted to IDR 29.3 trillion.

"The company's total assets as of December 31, 2022 amounted to IDR 45.4 trillion, or 126 percent compared to 2021 amounting to IDR 36.1 trillion," he continued.

Then PTBA's coal production in 2022 will reach 37.1 million tons, an increase of 24 percent compared to 2021, which is 30.0 million tons.

Meanwhile, PTBA's coal sales in 2022 were 31.7 million tons, growing 12 percent compared to 2021 which was 28.4 million tons.
