Dirty Honey Releases New Single, Won't Take Me Alive

JAKARTA - Following his debut last month, Dirty Honey announced the release of her new single, Won't Take Me Alive.

This is the first song from the second album of the upcoming Dirty Honey band, Can't Find The Brakes, which will be released this fall.

Produced by Nick Didia (Rage AGainst The Machine, Bruce Springteen, Pearl Jam) and recorded last April at his studio in Byron Bay, Australia, this song is full of vocals of killing Marc LaBelle and Justin Puju's sangar bass filling.

In addition, it was also equipped with Jaydon Bean's new drummer blow, and, as LaBelle says about guitarist John Notto, "the best riff I've heard of in the last decade."

"This song is full of sex and arrogance, but still has the weight and pleasure that Dirty Honey has," continued LaBelle.

"Won't Take Me Alive is an instrumental idea that I demonstrated on bass, drums and guitar in my studio," said Notto.

"I brought him to the band, we wrote a new chorus, and it was basically finished that quickly. Nick [DiDi Dia] rented some vintage amplies and really helped me get the naughty voice and attitude I wanted for the riff."

The release of Won't Take Me Alive coincided with the last round of their California Dreamin' Europe headline tour, the third for the band in two years.

The tour consists of a sold-out headline show, and support slots with Kiss and Guns N 'Roses.

Dirty Honey will also launch their 2023-2024 world tour first leg in North America this September, support Guns N 'Roses, and then play the main date in October, November and December.
