The Public Asked By The KPK To Beat Fajar's Attack During The Election
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) asked the public to dare to reject the envelope during the 2024 General Election (Pemilu). The dawn attack to nominate certain candidates must be beaten.
This was conveyed by the Deputy for Education and Community Participation of the KPK, Wawan Wardiana when he came to Bandung City, West Java, Sunday, July 2.
"We have to refuse and have to dare to beat the dawn attack," said Wawan, quoted from his written statement, Monday, July 3.
"The KPK will certainly not tire of reminding the public," said Wawan. The proof is that the KPK Anti-Corruption Bus has been around, including to the city of Bandung to educate residents.
Moreover, by accepting the envelope, the community can choose an incomparable candidate. As a result, the potential for corruption will also be higher.
"Never accept the money," said Wawan.
Meanwhile, the daily executor (Plh) of the Mayor of Bandung, Ema Sumarna, supports the KPK's recommendation. The local government is also working on a bureaucracy that is free from corrupt actions.
"We want to build an anti-corruption, collusion and nepotism (KKN) government. We admit that our journey is still long," he said.
This effort is also expected to set an example of anti-corruption to the community and their work environment. "Everything is still in process," said Erna.
"How we are internally from staff to leaders trying to provide an example of building a joint commitment to governance properly," he concluded.
