Teacher In South Kalimantan Who Forced Male Students To Make Immoral Videos Of Same-sex Types Arrested By Police

BANJARBARU - The Sub-Directorate V Cyber Team of the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of the South Kalimantan Police (Kalsel) arrested an honorary teacher in Banjarmasin who forced his students to create immoral video content together by having sex of the same sex.

"The suspect with the initials MPH (28) was arrested at his rented house on Jalan Martapura Lama, Sungai Tabuk District, Banjar Regency," said Director of Special Criminal Investigation at the South Kalimantan Police, Kombes Suhasto, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 20.

The victim who has reported the initials NR is a male student. He and his parents came to the Regional Police.

Suhasto said that based on the victim's statement to the police, there were dozens of videos of immoral scenes that had been made by the perpetrators with the victim between August 2022 and May 2023.

As for the modus operandi, initially the perpetrator, who was an honorary teacher at an elementary school (SD) and also a tutor for tutoring, rented a "Prank" service with an account called Jasmine on Telegram to conduct video calls sex (VCS) with the victim.

After the VCS activity was recorded and sent to the perpetrator by Prank's services, then the video was used by the perpetrators to trick and trick the victim.

Furthermore, the perpetrator lied by saying that there was an Instagram account @loveyourloveeer that would distribute the victim's VCS footage.

As a result, the victims who are under the threat of the video are spread to always comply with the wishes of the account, even though it belongs to the perpetrator by making several more immoral videos with the perpetrators.

Suhasto said there was no motive for economic gain from what the perpetrators did.

However, it is merely a deviant sex orientation so that they want to get personal satisfaction by having sex with boys.

Even from the results of the police investigation, it is suspected that there are still several other victims who are also minors who did not report.

"We remind parents to supervise their children's interactions even more, including during learning activities because they are prone to cases like this," said Suhasto.

The suspect charged with Article 82 paragraphs 1 and 2 in conjunction with Article 76E of Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning Stipulation of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law Number 1 of 2016 concerning Second Amendment to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection and or Article 45 paragraph 1 of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions.

Suhasto also said that there was an additional criminal threat in the form of castration punishment that was appropriate for the suspect because he had committed immoral crimes against more than one child and took advantage of his power as a teacher who easily cheated on his students.
