One of them is the Morowali industrial area located in Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi.
The Morowali industrial area is also one of the National Strategic Projects (PSN) based on the Decree of Permenko Number 9 of 2022.
Head of the Regional Infrastructure Development Agency of the Ministry of PUPR Yudha Mediawan said BPIW had issued Decree Number 18/KPTS/KW/2023 dated April 18, 2023, regarding the preparation of a master plan for regional development studies to support the acceleration of infrastructure development for five strategic industrial areas.
"The preparation of Urban Infrastructure Development Plans to support five strategic industrial areas is the direction of the Minister of PUPR. The locus is directed to become a master plan, namely Weda Bay, Sorowako, Morowali, Konawe, and Tanjung Selor," Yudha said in a press release, Tuesday, June 20.
