At The 2023 Ministry Of Industry's Working Meeting, Minister Of Industry Agus Disbursed The Achievement Target By 2025
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) revealed a number of achievement targets in the industrial sector in 2025. A number of achievement targets include the growth of the non-oil and gas processing industry sector which can reach 6.4 percent.
Next, the contribution of the non-oil and gas processing industry to GDP is targeted to reach 19.2 percent in the same year.
Finally, is the export contribution target of non-oil and gas processing industry products to total exports of 78 percent by 2025.
"The industry plays an important role in increasing GDP per capita. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the contribution of the industrial sector through improving the economic structure," said Minister of Industry (Menperin) Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita when opening the 2023 Ministry of Industry's Work Meeting (Raker) in the Sudirman area, South Jakarta, on Friday, June 16.
Agus said that a number of achievement targets were not easy to achieve. Therefore, collaboration from various parties is needed.
"What I say is not an easy thing to achieve. This is the goal of our meeting today. Our hope is that together, especially my hope is that the contribution of the industrial sector to GDP can approach 20 percent again," he said.

In addition, Agus said, in the 2015-2035 National Industrial Development Master Plan (RIPIN), Indonesia is expected to become a tough industrial country.
"The characteristics are to have a strong national industrial structure, global competitiveness, and based on innovation and technology," he said.
With this working meeting, Agus hopes that later he can produce strategic action plans, both in the short and medium term. "So, the competitiveness and productivity of the industrial sector can again increase," he added.
