Throughout 2022, Pertamina Patra Niaga Recorded Profit Of 193.07 Million US Dollars
JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, PT Pertamina's Subholding Commercial & Trading (Persero) recorded a profit of 193.07 million US dollars throughout 2022.
The profit was obtained from an increase in operating income in 2022 which reached 72.094 million US dollars, an increase of around 25.874 million US dollars or 55 percent higher than in 2021.
"Although in challenging conditions, in 2022 we can go through while still making positive performance and continuing to carry out energy distribution assignments throughout Indonesia," said PT Pertamina Patra Niaga President Director Alfian Nasution in a written statement received in Jakarta, Friday.
The consolidated financial performance in 2022 is in accordance with the results of the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) which has approved the annual report for the 2022 financial year which will take place in Jakarta, Thursday (8/6).
Pertamina Patra Niaga also said that the positive financial performance was supported by several things, including increasing income from consumption of non-subsidized products and saving costs ranging from distribution costs, maintaining supply loss and utilizing effective working hours.
"The distribution cost of Pertamina Patra Niaga can be up to 15 percent of the 2022 target. Then maintaining supply loss and effectiveness of working hours managed to record cost savings of more than 130 million US dollars," said Alfian.
In addition to financial performance, Pertamina Patra Niaga noted that the operational performance of energy distribution also shows a positive trend. For the aspect of availability, fulfillment or availability of fuel increases by 5 percent and the day's resilience of all products is maintained at a safe level for all types of fuel, LPG and avtur.
From the aspect of availability, Pertamina Patra Niaga also continues to expand its network of distribution agencies throughout Indonesia. Throughout 2022, 96 new one-price fuel points will be operated, the presence of more than 64 thousand bases or 3-kilogram (kg) subsidized LPG outlets through the One Village One Oulel (OVOO) program, and Pertashop which has increased to more than 2,000 outlets throughout 2022.
"Through these various programs, Pertamina Patra Niaga serves energy needs throughout Indonesia, including disadvantaged, frontier, outermost (3T) areas," he said.
In order to maintain the distribution of subsidies that are getting better and more recorded, Pertamina Patra Niaga said that the subsidy program was right to start being initiated for both fuel and LPG distribution.
Digitalization also plays a major role, where monitoring of unnatural transactions at gas stations continues to be strengthened, one of which is with the connectivity of 528 gas stations to Pertamina Integrated Enterprise Data & Command Center (PIEDCC).
Pertamina Patra Niaga also supports the government's energy transition program. By 2022, 317 Green Energy Stations (GES) have been operated, six public electric vehicle charging stations (SPKLU) and 22 public electric vehicle battery exchange stations (SPBKLU).
"This achievement is a good start for Pertamina's Subholding Commercial & Trading. This will be a trigger for Pertamina Patra Niaga to continue to ensure energy availability for all Indonesian people," said Alfian.

In line with that, PT Pertamina's Vice President for Corporate Communication (Persero) Fadjar Djoko Santoso said Pertamina will continue to optimize its role in providing energy based on the principles of availability, accessibility, affordability, acceptability, and sustainability.
"Pertamina Patra Niaga's performance in distributing fuel and LPG to remote areas contributes to Pertamina's performance from the downstream sector," said Fadjar.
