The identity of the body of a dead woman whose body was in a sack under a sack under the Cibitung-Cilincing (Cibibi) Toll Road, Cilincing District, North Jakarta was finally revealed.
"The victim has the initials TS, a resident of Tegal, Central Java," said Cilincing Police Chief Kompol Haris Akhmat Basuki when confirmed by VOI, Sunday, May 28.
The results of a temporary examination of the woman's body who was found dead in a sack, were found no injuries from sharp objects or blunt objects on the victim's body.
"Just the initial examination, there were no sharp weapons wounds on the victim's body. There were no stab wounds or blunt objects. The victim died because the perpetrator was smothered," he said.
Previously, it was reported that the police confirmed that the bodies found in sacks under the Cibitung-Cilincing (Cibibi) Toll Road, North Jakarta, Saturday, May 27, were murder victims.
North Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Gideon Arif Setyawan admitted that he could not conclude whether the victim was killed elsewhere or at the scene.
"He was killed. (Is it dumped) It's still not in the advanced investigation stage," Gideon said when confirmed, Saturday, May 27.
Gidion also admitted that he did not know further about the identity of the victim. Because the body was immediately taken to the Police Hospital, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta.
