Reported To The KPK For Gratification Issues, Bandung Regent: Against Each Other, Disrupts A Conducive Atmosphere
Bandung Regent Dadang Supriatna denied the issue of gratification in the Banjaran Healthy Market project which mentioned him, and assessed that this issue was related to the political year.
According to Dadang, in the political year, sometimes people justify all means to gain power and defeat opponents.
"The goal is to pit us against each other so that we become enemies, and/or intentionally to disrupt a conducive atmosphere," Dadang said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, May 26.
According to Dadang, the issue of receiving gratuities for the Banjaran Healthy Market project by himself and reportedly in mass media and social media, has been reported to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), which is a convoluter of opinion.
"We need to be very wise in this era of digitalization. Because it is viral to news that is not yet clear, as is the case with the spread of slander and backbiting on what is being reported, we are also spreading news that is not yet clear where the estuary came from," said Dadang.
Based on the information spread, the Regent of Bandung Dadang Supriatna was reported to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on suspicion of receiving gratuities in the form of luxury money and cars to smooth out the market revitalization project in Banjaran, Bandung Regency.
Dadang was reported together with West Bandung Regent Hengki Kurniawan who was also suspected of receiving a reward in the form of a luxury car from the private sector that manages one of the markets in Lembang, West Bandung.
The report on the two regional leaders was filed by Bilal Al Farizi as the coordinator of the Greater Bandung Youth Activist.
Bilal previously reported West Bandung Regent Hengki Kurniawan on charges of buying and selling positions some time ago. But at that time he brought the name of the West Bandung Youth Activist.
