Bareskrim Searches Dito Mahendra's House, Secures 2 Airsoft Guns Up To 78 Bullets
Investigators from the Directorate of General Crimes (Dittipidum) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police conducted a search at Mahendra Dito Sampurno alias Dito Mahendra's house, a suspect in the alleged crime of possessing illegal firearms.
Director of General Crimes (Dirtipidum) Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro said the search was carried out in two locations, namely a house on Jalan Intan RSPP Number 8, Cilandak, South Jakarta and a house on Jalan Taman Brawijaya III, Number 6A, North Cipete, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.
According to Djuhandhani, the search was only carried out on Friday (19/5) after his party received a search permit warrant at the two locations, namely the search warrant (Sprin) No: Sp.Dah/60/V/RES.1.17./2023/Dittipidum dated May 19, 2023 and sprin Search houses and other closed places No: Sp.Dah/61/V/RES.1.17./2023/Dittipidum dated May 19, 2023.
"It must be equipped with a search permit and other investigation administration (mindik) because we believe there is still evidence in the hands of the person concerned (Dito Mahendra)," said Djuhandhani as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, May 20.
He said the results of the search, the investigative team secured five witnesses and evidence in the form of two airsoft guns and 78 bullets.
The five witnesses who were arrested were assistants to Dito Mahendra and Nindy Ayunda, namely Hadi, Taufik, Hendro, Ara, Fitri and Piter. "(Witnesses) were secured for questioning," said Djuhadhani.
From the testimony of witnesses, investigators obtained information from Dito Mahendra, the last week they only came to Brawijaya's house because there was no money. He came home to ask for money and asked for food, and lived in the house, according to witness Hadi's statement.
Then the witness who was at the house of Jalan Intan RSPP Number 8, West Cilandak, the witnesses confirmed that the house belonged to Dito Mahendra.
The witnesses confirmed that Dito Mahendra and Nindy Ayunda lived together at the house of Jalan Intan RSPP. Nindy is known to live in the house every day.
Then, on April 21, on the night of the takbiran, Dito Mahendra came to the house of Jalan Intan RSPP using a White Innova, and lived until April 23. Just left the house after that with the witness with the initials AA.
The next information, dated May 1, Dito returned to the house using the same car and only left on May 2.

When asked what was the problem that investigators had not been able to secure Dito Mahendra, who had been named a suspect based on the results of the April 17 case, Djuhandhani said his party was still looking for the opportunity.
Djuhandhani also denied that there were "big people" who protected Dito Mahendra so that he did not cooperate in fulfilling the investigator's summons, until he was declared a fugitive or on the People's Wanted List (DPO).
"There are no obstacles, we are still looking for opportunities. There are no big people (protecting). Same in front of the law," said Djuhandhani.
Dito is suspected of violating Article 1 paragraph (1) of Law Number 12 of 1951 which regulates possession of firearms. Of the 15 firearms found by the KPK after Monday's search (13/3), nine of them did not have a ownership permit.
The evidence confiscated from the results of the search, namely a search at Jalan Taman Brawijaya III, North Cipete, in the form of a passport book in the name of Mahendra Dito Sapurno with the number C9139533 which is valid until 27 May 2027, one pistol-type air softgun with the number WET5168 made in Taiwan, one box with a Cbot Gun firearm, 45 firearms SN CGC1144, one cellphone.
Then the evidence was found at the house of Jalan Intan RSPP Cilandak Barat in the form of, one black airsoft gun brand Wingmaster Model 870 equipped with a black magazine, 29 rounds of lapua bullets of caliber 7.62 x 39 mm, 25 rounds of MU1-TJ bullets of 9x19 mm caliber, 24 bullets in the black box that reads ELEY, one lash light brand night evolution, one performance pistol barrel clock swenson black, one black city containing five bullet casings, one ID card in the name of Dito Mahenda.
Furthermore, said Djuhandhani, evidence of firearms found was carried out by laboratory tests to ensure the status of the permit.
"The ownership permit will be investigated later or not. We will analyze the findings and examinations," said Djuhandhani.
