BPTJ Gets 4 Banks For Trans Pakuan Tariff Enforcement
JAKARTA - The Jabodetabek Transportation Management Agency (BPTJ) has signed four banks to sign a cooperation agreement regarding the follow-up to the implementation of the Biskita Trans Pakuan service tariff in Bogor City, West Java.
The four banks are PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, and PT Bank Central Asia Tbk.
The signing of the cooperation carried out at the BPTJ Building regarding the integration of electronic payment systems using electronic money cards on public transportation subsidies with a buy the service scheme in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi areas.
"I hope that this collaboration will be able to facilitate and provide convenience for the public using public transport services with service purchase schemes in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi, especially those currently running in Bogor City, namely Biskita Trans Pakuan in making ticket payments using electronic money cards," said Secretary of BPTJ Agung Raharjo quoting Antara.
Agung also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the banks who have supported the implementation of the mandate of the Minister of Finance Regulation Number 55 of 2023 concerning Types and Tariffs for Types of Non-Tax State Revenues that are Volatile for Urban Transportation Services with a Buy the Service Scheme Applicable to the Ministry of Transportation.
"I hope that the cooperation that has been signed today will run smoothly and successfully in the future and achieve the agreed and expected joint goals," said Agung.
On the same occasion, BPTJ Transport Director Tatan Rustandi also conveyed that the collaboration with the four banks is expected to provide smooth service to the community and with the implementation of this collaboration, it is also hoped that it can increase the transparency of payments.
"The payment method using an electronic card is important because in this digitalization era we have to transparentize income from the tariffs that are drawn by the public. In the future, we will also prepare a payment system using the QRIS method to make it easier for the community," said Tatan.
BPTJ informed that the Implementation of the IDR 4.000 tariff for Biskita Trans Pakuan will begin on Saturday (20/5) and is expected to slightly affect the quantity of passengers. This is because people need an adaptation period and will return to normal after some time in the future.
The signing of the cooperation agreement was carried out by BPTJ Secretary Agung Raharjo, Group Head Transaction Banking Retail Sales Group PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk Thomas Wahyudi, Senior Vice President of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Mesah Roni Ginting, Executive Vice President of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, Dhoni Ramadi and Advisor Business Solution Management of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk Tommy Kurniawan Purnomo.
