Pekanbaru Accelerates Release Of Dumai-Pekanbaru-Kampar Toll Road Land

PekanbarU - Pekanbaru City Regional Secretary (Sekdakot) Indra Pomi Nasution said his party was trying to immediately acquire land for the construction of a 921 Dumai-Pekanbaru-Kampar toll road link.

"The acceleration of land acquisition for 921 parcels is carried out, because the construction of the toll road physical construction will continue in mid-2023," said Indra Pomi Nasution as reported by ANTARA, Friday, May 19.

He said according to central instructions that the Pekanbaru City Government would acquire 921 parcels of land, while the measurement of the land had been completed by the Pekanbaru National Land Agency (BPN).

He said the length of the toll road to be built reached 13.5 kilometers and it was recorded that there were several urban villages in Rumbai and Rumbai Barat sub-districts that were crossed by the toll road construction, namely Sri Meranti, Agrotourism, Rumbai Bukit, Palas, and Muara Fajar Timur.

"Currently, hundreds of land parcels have been assessed by the appraisal team or an independent team to assess land prices," he said.

Pekanbaru City Government is currently conducting deliberations with land owners, and by the end of May 2023 it is targeted that deliberations must be completed because in June 2023 the physical construction of the toll road has been carried out by PT Hutama Karya (HK).

In addition, the central government in the first quarter of 2024 requested that the construction of the toll road from Pekanbaru must have reached Pangkalan, Limapuluh Kota Regency, West Sumatra Province.

"According to the plan and work on the first quarter of 2024, the construction of the toll road is targeted to have arrived at the West Sumatra Base," said Indra Pomi.
