Police Secure Return Of State Head And ASEAN Delegation
JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo ensured that his staff and other relevant stakeholders were ready to escort the return of the head of state and delegation of the ASEAN 2023 Summit from Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
"Of course, there will indeed be a density because the return is different, some are still carrying out activities and maybe there are still those who are (staying) to enjoy the beauty of Labuan Bajo," said Sigit as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, May 11.
The National Police Chief said that his party had conducted an evaluation of several security activities for the 42nd ASEAN Summit, which peaked on Wednesday (10/5). He added that the head of state and delegation began to return to his country after the entire ASEAN 42nd Summit activity on Thursday.
However, the return of the friendly country guests was not the same, so the Police made adjustments in escorting their return.
In the process of securing the return, the National Police coordinated with all stakeholders, including Paspampres.
"Of course, our members have taken steps to prepare for planning and also coordinate with all stakeholders related to colleagues from Paspampres from ring one. So, related to existing activities or suddenly there is a change in plans, we can be informed more quickly so that we can adjust immediately," he explained.
